We believe that the Lord wants to do something wonderful in the city of Norfolk, and that every church can play a significant role.

The Lord Jesus says in John 13:35, "By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." It is our desire to demonstrate this love among the Body of Christ in Norfolk this coming fall with a seven-week event called "Better Together."

We have three primary goals:

• First, glorify God by reflecting Him in our relationships with one another. You'll remember that Jesus prayed in John 17:20-21"… that they may be one…" By orchestrating parallel ministry for a season we demonstrate unity as the Body of Christ which is the will of God.
• Second, grow spiritually through fellowship and biblical teaching. Something fantastic happens when people meet together in small groups to grow spiritually and relationally. Imagine the impact on our community if, all across Norfolk, people gathered together in homes with family, friends and neighbors united by their common faith in Jesus Christ.
• And third, give to the community through Kingdom-oriented service projects. Since the Acts 2 church, Christians have been providing practical, hands-on care for the needy and destitute. Together, we can have an opportunity to make an enormous impact in our community and beyond.
